Master of Natural Science (MNS)

The Master of Natural Science (Physics) Degree:

  • Is unique in that it is offered through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; Department of Physics
  • Provides interdisciplinary graduate training in Physics, Physical Science, or Physics Education
  • Consists of 30 hours of formal coursework, with a GPA of 3.0 or better

About the Program:

  • Courses for this program are offered during the summer months
  • Especially suited for full-time high school science teachers who desire professional training
  • Teachers who are interested in this program should take a modeling workshop before they begin the other courses, as modeling instruction is the foundation of the program
